This is the only color it's ever been, besides black. Like... I just thought of something that made me happy and that's the color it turned. I never realized it was the same color as your eyes...

i know it did
mine did the same thing
someone told me i could do colors, like my favorite one, and it turned this color right away
i didn't realize what it meant until now

[His turned brown before Marco was even in the city, before he had any idea what they'd end up meaning to each other. And it's stayed brown, only turning back to black when Jean is upset or depressed.]
